I have had this table for years. It's just your basic farm table with a light oak top and white legs. The chairs (which are not pictured) are the same. I was tired of it and was wanting a new look. This is the picture that inspired me...
I redid the top of the table to make it look old and aged. I sanded the top like crazy. There was a ton of varnish on it. I then took a hammer and a screwdriver to it and beat it up a little. I took some Minwax stain and wiped it on and then wiped it off. I am very pleased with how it turned out. I just need to paint my chairs white. I will post more pics when the chairs are finished.
